Chateau l'Escarderie

Château l'Escarderie is located in the Bordeaux wine region, on the right bank in the Fronsac appellation, in Organic Agriculture.
Our family vineyard (neo-wine growers since 2015) is located on the slopes of Fronsadais overlooking the Dordogne river; Facing south, our vines are perfectly sunny. The clay-limestone terroir is ideal for giving minerality to our Merlot, Cabernet-Franc and Malbec grape varieties.
Our mid-XNUMXth century cellar allows us to vinify in the old-fashioned way, under the supervision of an experienced oenologist.
Our particularity: the work with horses in the vineyards and the vinification and aging in amphorae.

• Additional visit: The visits take place at our cellar, a magnificent building from the mid-19th century: we present to you our winemaking cellar, then our aging cellar. Then we go to our tasting room, in which you taste our productions. After the tour, you are free to wander the property to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and views of the valley. Take your time to taste, your children can decorate one of our amphoras!
