The mill of the Grandes vignes and the pond
Laurent Français
My dream was to restore a mill, but we couldn't find one in the area, so in 1984 we decided to build one!

Located on a pleasant site, overlooking the village of "Courrière", the Moulin des Grandes Vignes opens its wings to the Périssac vineyard.

Built in 1984, this windmill is fully equipped and therefore remains one of the few capable of grinding wheat. Completed in 1988, it is possible today to visit it and to dive back on what could be the work of the miller.

You can also visit the Museum of Vine and Wine which has a collection of tools that our ancients used in the vineyards and cellars: plow, wine pumps, copper sulphate, "corker" ... the various aspects of the trade of winemaker in the last century will hold no more secrets for you.
