The church depends until the XNUMXth century on the abbey of Saint-Sauveur de Blaye, then on the convent of the minimal fathers of Bordeaux.
The barrel-vaulted nave of the church has 4 bays, the first 2 of which to the east date from the end of the XNUMXth century. The arms of the transept are formed by two chapels with apsidiole, vaulted on cross ribs. The apse forms a half cylinder surmounted by a roof in half cone. The bell tower is placed on the north facade of the nave. The portal (listed as a Historic Monument) is framed by two buttresses, dating from the XNUMXth century and presenting five pointed arches which fall on short columns surmounted by capitals.
