This Saintonge-style Romanesque church was, between 1171 and 1613, a priory of the abbey of Guîtres. Its Romanesque apse, vaulted in the bottom of an oven, is adorned on the outside with seven blind semi-circular arches, the archivolts of which are carved with diamond points and wolf teeth. The choir is vaulted like a broken barrel. The square bell tower located on the transept dates from the 1868th century. In XNUMX, the construction of the current neo-Gothic bell tower on the western part of the building resulted in the destruction of the Romanesque facade.
