Château Franc Capet is a former wine estate in Fronsac created in the 1850s.
Today, Sarah and Eric Risser-Maroix are taking up the torch.
The vineyard is located north of Fronsac on the road to Saillans. In this area the terrain is hilly offering beautiful hillsides for vineyards. Its soil is clay-limestone.
The wine from this terroir is powerful, ruby red with the scent of red fruits, cherries and blackcurrants.
