This church replaced an older place of worship, located near the port. Originally, it was probably a chapel with secular patronage, ceded by Lord Arnaud de Carle when the old church fell into ruin. Rebuilt in the XNUMXth century, the current church has retained a XNUMXth century arched portal. We do not know the start date of its construction.
