Founded according to legend by Charlemagne in 781, this church probably originally had a monastic destination. One can think that, on an old Gallo-Roman domain, was built a first building of Christian worship.
The current building has a flat apse, pierced by two arched windows adorned with archivolts with foliage, today walled up. The north facade is decorated with semicircular pilasters and a double horizontal row of zigzag rafters, dating from the XNUMXth century. A side nave was added to the south of the building in the XNUMXth century. The church is listed in the supplementary inventory of Historical Monuments.
